When i was a Business Administration Student i had read THE GAIA remarkable Proposition from JAMES LOVELOCK, LYNN MARGULIS (50 y ago) on the book “GAIA … every on the Earth is connected…” before (long years before) any touch from my own around any computer or any kind of Micri-chip technology (remember before nineties years if the last century none in Mexico are using Micro computers as the next time comming the boom), i was i shock for a long time thinking about.
Obviously on those years none share any kind of information as the present day today, even doesn’t exist the youtube or wikipedia yet as today we can access easy easy and cheep, but independ of those limitation, i found the way to read that kind of books avaialbe (limited) on Benjamin Franklin Library Mexico City where i spent long time reading every books over that.
But What GAIA means ? According with Greeks culture, “Gaia was the Greek goddess of Earth, mother of all life, similar to the Roman Terra Mater (mother Earth) reclining with a cornucopia, or the Andean Pachamama, the Hindu, Prithvi, “the Vast One,” or the Hopi Kokyangwuti, Spider Grandmother, who with Sun god Tawa created Earth and its creatures. “
On those years, i was deeply reader of ISAAC ASIMOV and others around SCIENCE FICTION currency other one RAY BRADBURRY , both touching similars topics about the long term devastation we will face on the future— own current PRESENT TODAY.
But what was my hard shock around GAIA point of view from LOVELOCK concerning of:
” that life on Earth self-regulates its environment to create optimum conditions for the additional advancement of life. My main blown out on those years when i had read full book , this futurist (an today reality) worlds: (in my own understatind)”., the Mother Earht found the way to Kill, Suprim and Eliminate any living been who is causing her : damage, imbalance, or chaos no mather who is it…. The ONLY ONE who will survive under Mother Earht was HER…”
